With an increasing demand for our services on major infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas, we are looking to recruit staff at all grades from technicians, consultants, senior and principal consultants through to technical director grade, with good relevant qualifications and experience in the field of acoustics, noise, vibration and air quality assessment, monitoring and management.
About You:
We are looking for motivated, reliable and conscientious individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, relevant qualifications and experience in acoustics and/or air quality and our primary areas of work in the construction, transportation, property, industrial and commercial sectors.
Relevant qualifications for consultants and above include a relevant first degree in Acoustics, Air Quality or Environment Science, a Diploma in Acoustics or other equivalent qualification. Corporate affiliations or memberships of the IOA, IES and IAQM are also an essential pre-requisite.
Candidates should be resilient and able to provide support to company staff and clients in accordance with agreed timescales. They should have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, be used to working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong attention to detail.
The Vacancies:
Successful applicants will play a key role in the provision of technical services across our core sectors of work, which cover: construction environmental management; indoor/outdoor noise, vibration, dust and air surveys; noise, vibration and emission calculations; environmental impact assessments; detailed design and mitigation; stakeholder engagement; and commissioning surveys and compliance monitoring.
Opportunities for post-graduate training and part time study are available for candidates interested in a starting position at assistant consultant entry level. Essential Skills and Experience at all grades include:
- good practical, communication and IT skills;
- commitment to excellent customer service;
- ability to build rapport with company stakeholders;
- diligence with strong attention to detail in all areas of work;
- excellent time management skills;
- work experience commensurate with grade: 2-3 years for consultant role, 3-5+ years for senior consultant, 5-10+ years’ experience for a principal consultant and 15+ years for a technical role.
Office working locations include Camden, East Sussex and Milton Keynes.
