Amadeus joined Southdowns in 2016 as a Field Technician following 5 years of working as a sound engineer at events and venues.
His primary tasks consisted of managing of environmental monitoring installations as well as routine maintenance and calibration of remotely operated unattended equipment.
Further to above, having completed his IOA Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement and embracing his current role as the Equipment Team Manager, his responsibilities involve ensuring the monitoring systems are run and maintained according to specific guidelines and regulations, as well as assisting senior and principal consultants with equipment enquiries, noise surveys and assessments.
Amadeus has been involved with work on railway projects such as Crossrail, HS2, London Bridge and Bank extension upgrades, among other medium and large scale construction, commercial and residential developments in and around London.
Amadeus has completed SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) and PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers Manufacturers Association) training.
