Angela is an Assistant Acoustic Consultant with a background in audio engineering supported by a post-graduate Masters degree in Architectural and Environmental Acoustics and is currently an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics (AMIOA). She has experience in data analysis, data processing, acoustic measurements and using acoustic modelling software such as Noise Map and CATT Acoustics.

Following her interest in sound and acoustics, her BSc thesis investigated noise pollution within the London underground environs and its impact on hearing health when assessed in accordance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations.

Angela’s MSc thesis related to building acoustics was presented at Inter-noise Congress 2022. It aimed to determine the effect of painted fabrics upon an absorber with regards to optimum absorption performance.

In her current role Angela provides technical support to other Southdowns’ consultants, as well as modelling and survey services on current projects.
