Following his Key Note speech at Railtex 2019 today, Andrew Jones MP the Parliamentary Under Secretary Secretary of State for Transport spoke to Director Rick Methold at the Southdowns stand today. He was interested to hear about Southdowns’ work on major UK rail infrastructure and the available options for retrofitting and conditioning track systems to improve noise and vibration for the public living close to rail corridors. An amusing PR moment presented itself when the Minister picked up our instrumented heavy impulse response (sledge) hammer on display.
