Richard joined RWDI in 2023 as the Senior Leader – Building Acoustics, responsible for managing and overseeing the team’s building and architectural acoustics projects. Richard is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics, chair of the IOA’s Sustainable Design task force, chair of the Acoustics Technician Apprenticeship Trailblazer Group and a regular lecturer at the London South Bank University.

Richard has led specialist building and architectural acoustics and multi-disciplinary designs for such high-profile projects as the Palace of Westminster Restoration and Renewal, AstraZeneca’s Discovery Centre in Cambridge, new Children’s Hospital for Ireland in Dublin, and London’s landmark Elizabeth Line.
